Reports Queue Process in PLATO® Web Learning Network
Have you experienced frustration because the reports you keep trying to generate in PLATO Web Learning Network do not appear immediately? After you submit a report to be generated in PLATO Web Learning Network, it can take up to 2 hours to generate, depending on the size of the report and the status of the reports queue.
The report is generated behind the scenes. The "Started" status means that the report request is in a queue waiting to be processed. The queue is processed in the order the requests are submitted. "In Progress" means the report is the current report being processed. When you see "Started" or "In Progress", you can either click the Refresh List button to see the updated status or return later to Reports > Reports Management. Completed reports will appear in the "Reports completed and ready for download" section. Click on the report you wish to view.
It is strongly recommended that you do not resubmit the same report request if a report is not completed immediately. In this case it will not get the report to complete more quickly, but will only add to the list of reports that need to be processed.
Completed reports are automatically deleted after 3 days. In the case of excessively large reports, an error message will display in place of the report requesting that reporting requirements be scaled down by a certain percentage on the report setup page.
Also, to prevent any confusion when running multiple reports of the same type, for example an Activity Mastery Summary by Progress report, you can customize the report title at the top of the screen. It is helpful to change the name to add more information about the report you are running, for example "Math 9A, Period 3." This can be done when you enter the report settings.
