The impact of iBooks textbooks

Every Apple product announcement gets attention, but the recent unveiling of iBooks textbooks and the iBooks Author app was of particular interest to educators. While Apple may be disrupting the business model of textbook publishing, its new products don't appear to be disrupting the instructional model of education. Tom Vander Ark says, "This feels like a jog sideways, rather than a step forward."
