This online preparation test was designed by PLATO® Learning, in partnership with ETS, and aligns to national writing standards. These tests allow you to determine each learner’s test readiness, conduct periodic reassessments and help improve learner performance on high stakes tests. This package includes:

• 7 essay items that are presented as individual tests: 3 Expository essay prompts, 1 Narrative essay prompt, and 3 Persuasive essay prompts.
• Grading using ETS’s e-rater system, which is an automated essay scoring technology. Each item has either a 4 or 6 point rubric for scoring.
• Automatic prescription/exemption into PLATO courseware based on the test performance.
