PLATO® Health helps students meet state graduation requirements and develop 21st Century skills in Health Literacy. The curriculum is based on the Centers for Disease Control National Standards and explores the behaviors and lifestyle choices that affect our health. Students learn about common diseases, including their causes, symptoms, treatment, and prevention. Most relevant for young adults, it covers the process of reproduction, human growth and development, substance abuse, peer pressure, and mental health, along with strategies to address these issues.
