Vin Riera
President and CEO

Vin Riera became President & CEO of PLATO Learning in November 2008 after serving as the Company's Sr. Vice President of Sales and Services for nearly two years. As President & CEO, Vin leads PLATO Learning's business strategy and vision and is focused on continuing the Company's innovation, leadership, and strategy to become a world-class Software-as-a-Service education business. During Vin's tenure as Sr. VP of Sales & Services, PLATO Learning grew usage of its instructional solutions on the PLATO Learning Environment™ to more than 1 million users across the U.S.

Vin came to PLATO Learning from Gateway, Inc., where he served as vice president of the professional services division and directed strategy, sales, operations, services, and marketing for the $1 billion business unit, encompassing the education, government, and commercial sectors. Prior to joining Gateway, Riera's career advanced rapidly by managing sales and services initiatives for mid-sized companies, Fortune 500 companies, global 1000 companies, as well as local, state and federal government accounts. Specifically, Riera held a variety of leadership positions at GE Capital, Equant, Inc., (now Orange Business Services) and MCI WorldCom.
