Matthew A. Drapkin
Managing Director, ENSO Capital Management, LLC

Mr. Drapkin has served as head of research, special situations, and private equity at ENSO Capital, a New York based hedge fund since March 2008. From January 2003 to March 2008 Mr. Drapkin worked at MacAndrews & Forbes where he most recently served as the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities. He led the due diligence, negotiation, and financial analysis for Scantron's acquisition of Pearson's data management division, as well as investments in Deluxe Entertainment, AM General, and Scientific Games. In conjunction with each investment, he worked closely with management on strategic priorities, M&A opportunities, and in the case of Pearson, integration and synergy realization. He also actively participated in monthly management meetings to track operating and financial performance objectives for each portfolio company. Prior to MacAndrews, Mr. Drapkin was the general manager of several Conde Nast internet sites and an investment banker at Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Drapkin graduated with an MBA/JD from Columbia University and a BA from Princeton University.
